Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus between representatives of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and the Heart of Azovstal NGO, who are currently visiting Cyprus, and representatives of the Ukrainian community in Nicosia - Iryna Sokolova, Anastasiia Hurska, and Anastasiia Okhrushchak.
The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and the Heart of Azovstal NGO were represented at the meeting by Svitlana Berezina, Head of the International Department of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation; Tetiana Maltseva, Director of the Heart of Azovstal NGO; and Nataliia Shevchenko, Coordinator of the Post-Traumatic Growth Programme at the Heart of Azovstal NGO.
During the meeting, the participants discussed an art therapy programme for children and adults aimed at supporting emotional well-being, promoting recovery, and creating a safe space for creativity and communication.
A particularly meaningful part of the meeting was the participation of the representatives of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and the Heart of Azovstal NGO in creating the “Earth” tapestry dedicated to Ukraine. By symbolically weaving their own threads into the fabric, each of them left a part of herself in the shared artwork — as a sign of unity, remembrance, and an unbreakable connection with Ukraine.
