The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus joins the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and UNITED24 in a fundraising campaign launched together with former astronaut, EMT, and UNITED24 Ambassador Scott Kelly to purchase 10 Type-C ambulances for Ukraine.
Ukrainian embassies and consulates around the world, together with local Ukrainian communities, are coming together to raise $1.2 million for these state-of-the-art ambulances.
These vehicles are much more than transportation. They are mobile intensive care units, equipped with ventilators, defibrillator monitors, electrocardiographs with remote ECG transmission, and other lifesaving medical equipment—allowing emergency medical teams to begin critical treatment before a patient reaches a hospital.
In 2025, Ukrainian emergency medical teams responded to more than 4.5 million calls. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, 495 ambulances have been destroyed or damaged.
