Today, we remember those who stood in defence of Ukraine and never returned home. Those who gave their lives for the freedom of their country and for the future of the Ukrainian people.
We remember. We remember every name, every face, every story. With sorrow and profound respect, we bow our heads before all those who gave the most precious thing they had — their lives for Ukraine.
Today, the State Flag of Ukraine at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus is flying at half-mast as a sign of mourning and in honour of the fallen Defenders of Ukraine.
May their memory be eternal.
