The important issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of justice and international law enforcement activity were discussed during the meeting, particularly regarding the mutual legal assistance, assistance in the investigation and prosecution of international criminal offences, combating money-laundering, proceeds of crime and the financing of terrorism etc.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ms. Anzhela Stryzhevska, Ambassador of Ukraine in Cyprus Mr. Borys Humeniuk as well Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Andreas Ashiotis, Director of Justice Sector of the Ministry Mrs. Marianna Santama Patsalides, Head of the International Legal Cooperation Unit of the Ministry Mr. Andreas Kyriakides and Administrative Officer Mrs. Maria Mounti.
