On 10-11 of May, 2017 within the context of participation at the 26^th  EBRD Annual Meeting in Nicosia the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mykhaylo Titarchuk had a bilateral meetings with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Cyprus Stelios Himonas, the President of Association of Cyprus Travel Agents Dinos Kakkouras, the Director General of the Association Yiannis Michaelides, the President of Cyprus-Ukraine Business Association under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Michalis Michael and its Vice President George Papadopoulos.

As a result the Parties agreed to further develop mutually beneficial co-operation in the field of tourism, particularly, on the participation of the Cypriot Party at the 24^th International Tourist Saloon “Ukraine” UITM 2017 to be held in Kyiv, Ukraine on 4-6 October, 2017 as well as participation of Ukraine at the International Exhibition “TAXIDI-2018” to be held in Nicosia, Cyprus on April 2018.

Mykhaylo Titarchuk officially invited Stelios Himonas to visit Ukraine with working visit in order to lead the Cypriot delegation during the above mentioned UITM 2017 Exhibition in Ukraine.
