On the 19th of June 2010 Mr.Oleksandr Demianiuk, the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, held meeting with representatives of Pafos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting the two Sides have discussed prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Cyprus. In particular, the Cypriot Side has proposed to establish direct bilateral relations with the Ukrainian regional chambers of commerce such as Donetsk and Odessa to sign the relative agreements on cooperation.

From his side, the Ambassador of Ukraine has briefed on trade and economic potential of Ukraine and underlined importance of further development of the bilateral Ukrainian-Cypriot trade and economic cooperation, which is mutually beneficial for the both Sides. The Cypriot Side was also briefed on economic and internal political situation in Ukraine.
