On November 11, 2020, H.E., Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Ruslan Nimchynskyi met with Director of Energy and Marine Policy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Yiorgos Christofides.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on a number of issues on the bilateral agenda of mutual interest, as well as agreed to intensify cooperation in a wide range of areas.

Particular attention was paid to the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region and in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Cyprus.

The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to the Republic of Cyprus for its support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, both at the bilateral level and in the EU framework.
