On November 11, 2020, H.E., Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Ruslan Nimchynskyi met with H.E., Director of the Cyprus Question and Turkey Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Mrs. Maria Michael.

During the meeting, the parties stressed the importance to intensify a political dialogue at all levels, as well as the need to establish a permanent practice of exchanging experiences on the issues of mutual interest.

The Ambassador has also informed on the Crimean Platform Initiative which has been launched by Ukraine and aims to become an effective international platform for discussing a wide range of issues related to the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol as well as invited the Cypriot side to join this Initiative.
