Yesterday, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus hosted a briefing by Mykhailo Spasov, Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine for International Cooperation and European Integration, for the representatives of the Embassies of Ireland, Slovakia, Austria, Qatar, Poland, Britain, Japan, and Armenia.
Mr. Spasov told the diplomats about the work being done by Ukraine to return children abducted by Russia home and about cooperation with partners in this direction.
Ambassador of Ukraine Serhii Nizhynskyi, in his turn, thanked the representative of the Embassy of Qatar for mediating in the return of 83 children from the temporarily occupied territories.
The attendees were also able to see an exhibition of photographs by Yan Dobronosov, dedicated to children living in frontline cities, within the walls of the Embassy.
