On August 7, 2025, the ICC Ukraine Trade Hub was inaugurated in Limassol (Cyprus), which will become a key platform for promoting Ukrainian products on international markets. This event opens a new stage in economic cooperation between Ukraine and Cyprus, emphasizing the strategic role of Cyprus as a gateway for Ukrainian goods to the EU and the Middle East.
The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Ruslan Nimchinsky, representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, the President of ICC Ukraine Volodymyr Shchelkunov, representatives of the Cypriot company CRETERRA, based on which the hub was created, as well as representatives of Cypriot businesses interested in cooperation with Ukraine.
The Trade Hub will provide comprehensive support to Ukrainian exporters, facilitating the entry of their products into global markets, the development of joint business projects, attracting investments, and promoting the investment potential of Ukraine. The hub will also become a platform for exchanging experiences, establishing business contacts, and implementing innovative initiatives for the economic growth of both countries.
Ambassador Ruslan Nimchinsky emphasized the strategic importance of the hub: “This center is more than a commercial initiative. It is a symbol of the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of Ukraine, as well as the hospitality of our Cypriot partners. The hub will become a bridge for economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and sustainable development.” He also noted that cooperation with the NAZOVNI digital platform, created with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, will contribute to attracting foreign partners and investments.
Cypriot businessmen expressed interest in cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, IT, green energy, and logistics.
The opening of the ICC Ukraine trade hub is an important step in Ukraine’s economic diplomacy, demonstrating its ambitions, innovation, and readiness for international partnership.
