Telephone conversation of the Ambassador of Ukraine Sergii Nizhynskyi with the Ambassador of Poland Marek Szczepanowski

Today at 08:00 am, I called the Ambassador of Poland to the Republic of Cyprus, Marek Szczepanowski, and expressed my support after the drone attacks. Later I held a meeting with the Ambassador.
🔹Discussed joint reaction to the Russian drone attack and their interference in Polish airspace, as well as the intensification of bilateral relations against the backdrop of the escalation of Russian aggression against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
🔹 We discussed joint initiatives, including cultural projects in Cyprus to strengthen ties between our countries and preparations for Cyprus’s EU Council presidency in 2026.
🔹 Called for joint actions in Cyprus to counter Russian aggression, proposing a meeting of our embassies with the EU ambassadors to discuss Russian threats and support for Ukraine.
🔹 The Polish Ambassador confirmed strong support for Ukraine!
