The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, in its work with the Cypriot media, considers it necessary to voice and emphasize that the Ukrainian community respects the country that provided temporary shelter and that Ukrainians are not dependent on the state. On the contrary, they work, develop their own businesses, create jobs and replenish the budget of the Republic.
At a recent press conference with local media, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Dr. Sergii Nizhynskyi also noted that Ukrainians are consciously integrating, learning the Greek language, and respecting local traditions.
