On February 4, 2020, at UNIC, Director of the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Sergiy Korsunsky and Dean of the School of Law of the University of Nicosia Prof. Dr. Achilles C. Emilianides signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation, which established the legal basis for the development of long-term relations between the two institutions with the purpose of implementing of joint future projects and training programs, a possibility for academic staff exchange in order to conduct of appropriate trainings, seminars and lectures.

The Charge d’Affairs a.i. of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mrs. Nataliia Sirenko and Embassy’s staff took part in the official ceremony.

At the invitation of the Cypriot counterparts, Mr. Sergiy Korsunsky gave a public lecture to the students and visitors of the University of Nicosia concerning the energy security in Europe.
