The Embassy of Ukraine has started implementing the project “Ukrainian Bookshelf” which was initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.

The official opening of the first Ukrainian bookshelf in the Republic of Cyprus took place on February 15, 2023 in the Strovolos Municipal Library. The ceremony was accompanied by the Strovolos String Orchestra. Now a selection of books on the history and culture of Ukraine, works of art by Ukrainian authors in the original language are available for Ukrainians in Cyprus.
