With regard to the cases of violations by foreigners of the procedure for entry to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus emphasizes that foreigners and stateless persons may enter the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol strictly in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, norms of international law and the resolutions of the UN General Assembly «Territorial integrity of Ukraine» of 27 March 2014, «Situation of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Ukraine)» of 19 December 2016 and of 19 December 2017.

Foreigners and stateless persons are allowed to enter the temporarily occupied territory and exit from it by presentation of a special permission of the competent authorities of Ukraine at the control points of entry and exit.

The legal regime to enter and exit the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, will be in force until the sovereignty of Ukraine is fully restored over the temporarily occupied territory.

Embassy emphasizes that all foreigners should steadily abide by the Ukrainian legislation and international law.
