On September 2, 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Borys Humeniuk met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nikos Hristodulidis on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Cyprus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a key aspects of cooperation between the two states in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The parties have also confirmed its readiness to continue cooperation at all levels, including the implementation of reforms in Ukraine, as well as continuation of support of Ukraine by the Republic of Cyprus.

Mr. Christodoulides expressed his gratitude to Mr. Humeniuk for the fruitful cooperation and his personal contribution as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.

The parties have also agreed to further develop and strengthen friendly relations between the two states.
