At the meeting the Parties discussed possible ways of development of mutually beneficial relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Cyprus in the field of the development of the most popular game in Europe – football. Borys Humeniuk informed Georgios Koumas on some issues of the preparation of the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final to be held on May 26, 2018 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The parties have stressed traditionally friendly relations between the Football Federation of Ukraine and Cyprus Football Association, and had agreed to promote them further.
