During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of the international co-operation in the field of combating of money laundering as well as mutual legal assistance between Ukraine and Cyprus.

As a result, the working ties between the law enforcement agencies of the both countries, which were reinforced after the visit of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Mr. Yurii Lutsenko in September 2016, were strengthened. The parties had agreed to proceed with the mutually beneficial co-operation, particularly in the direction of creation of the joint investigation teams regarding the corresponding international crime issues.
