The Parties discussed a wide range of issues of a mutual interest in the fields of further development of bilateral trade tourism and investment. With this aim Oleksandr Danyliuk and  Harris Georgiades had agreed to make corresponding preparations in order to arrange the Second session of the Cypriot – Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Industrial Cooperation during the second part of 2017 in Kyiv.

Besides, Harris Georgiades stressed the necessity of ratification by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Protocol amending the existing bilateral Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital.
