In traditionally friendly atmosphere during the event Ukrainian embroidery techniques, styles and patterns were discussed. The presentation of embroidered clothing and other traditional items as well as acquaintance with uniqueness of embroideries in different parts and regions of Ukraine were held.

The evening was enriched with modern Ukrainian songs performed by talented Ukrainian musician. All present at the celebration had the opportunity to taste delicious national dishes prepared by Ukrainians.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Borys Humeniuk congratulated all Ukrainians with this encouraging holiday, stressed of the history of embroidery in Ukraine and the significant role it plays in each Ukrainian family.
