On March 5, 2016, Ukrainian classical music orchestra "Kyiv Classic" with its well-known Ukrainian musical artist, kapellmeister, maestro German Makarenko and artists of National opera of Ukraine performed during the 6th Charity Vienna Ball in Cyprus organized by dancing school “Fly-in-Dance” with cooperation with Embassies of Austria and Ukraine.
Music performed by the famous team of artists of orchestra "Kyiv Classic" started the opening ceremony of the ball and was accompanying all the event.
In his speech to the attendees of the Vienna Ball Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus H.E. Borys Humeniuk stressed that due to the skillful performance of maestro Makarenko and talented performers the orchestra "Kyiv Classic" for the second time performs in Cyprus. In November 2012 maestro Makarenko with his team first arrived in Cyprus and with great success held a series of concerts here in Nicosia and Limassol.
Ambassador drew parallels between the diplomacy and the art, that is soft power, which in the capable hands is converted into effective diplomacy, diplomacy that brings peace and understanding, establishes and strengthens relations between peoples. 0
