The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus, Sergii Nizhynskyi, together with the team of the  Embassy of Ukraine and representatives of Ukrainian-Cypriot Friendship, participated in the march with the Towel of Unity.

This event, organized by the Association of Ukrainian-Cypriot Friendship and Plast Cyprus with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine, brought together Ukrainians from all corners of the island: Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, Larnaca.

Today, the towel already reaches 180 meters – and that's not the limit! It continues to grow, symbolizing our resilience, love for the Motherland, and the connection between generations.

During the march, the native Ukrainian language rang out, along with Ukrainian songs and children's laughter. Kids in embroidered shirts, adults with smiles – it was a real Ukraine in Cyprus!

The event attracted attention not only from Ukrainians but also from foreigners: tourists stopped, took photos, and asked about the project.

Ambassador of Ukraine Sergii Nizhynskyi addressed everyone with an inspiring speech:

"Such events are not just a march; they are the unification of Ukrainians across all of Cyprus around one great goal: preserving identity and supporting one another! Together, we are strength!"
