On January 6, 2023, Ambassador of Ukraine Ruslan Nimchynskyi met with a team of young Ukrainian athletes from the most affected regions of Ukraine - Irpen, Buchi, Gostomel, who arrived on the island on January 1st, 2023, for the purpose of preparation and participation in the International Judo Tournament, which will be held on January 28-29 in Larnaca.

During the month, Ukrainian athletes will intensively prepare for future competitions in safe conditions, on the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.

The project is implemented by the joint efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, the "KEPAKY - Center for Social Services" Foundation, the Charity Fund "Future - Children" with the support of patrons of Ukraine and Cyprus, as well as the Ukrainian community of the island.
