The fifth Ukrainian bookshelf has been opened in Cyprus.

On September 4, 2023, within the framework of the "Ukrainian Bookshelf" project, implemented under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, in the library of the University of Cyprus (Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου | University Of Cyprus), Ambassador Ruslan Nimchynskyi together with the Rector of the University Professor Tasos Christofides, officially opened another Ukrainian Bookshelf in Cyprus.

During the event, the parties noted the importance of implementing the mentioned initiative and readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

The embassy continues to work to make the Ukrainian book available to Ukrainians throughout the island.
