During the meeting, a number of important issues aimed at improving the conditions of stay and support for Ukrainian veterans in Cyprus were discussed. In particular, the possibility of introducing special hotel discounts for veterans, as well as establishing a support mechanism to assist veterans upon their arrival on the island — from the airport to their place of accommodation was explored.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus highly values initiatives aimed at creating a barrier-free environment and supporting our defenders as they return to active life after sustaining injuries. Through joint efforts, we continue to work on expanding opportunities and support services for Ukrainian veterans abroad.
