His figure is well-known on the island: the notes of Vasyl were used by the Cypriot Orthodox Church to study the history of local monasteries. The unique 18th-century manuscript and drawings of Cyprus's holy monasteries, created by him, are an invaluable contribution to cultural heritage.
In honor of the glorious Ukrainian, a memorial plaque was installed in the city of Limassol on the building of the Ayia Napa Cathedral, unveiled on September 19, 2013.
