On December 15, 2022, the President of the House of Representatives (Parliament) of the Republic of Cyprus Annita Demetriou and the Ambassador of Ukraine Ruslan Nimchynskyi visited the first Ukrainian school in Cyprus in the city of Limassol, where children from Ukrainian families who received temporary protection status on the island study.

The distinguished guest, the Head of the Parliament of Cyprus, had the opportunity to communicate with Ukrainian schoolchildren, observe the educational process and evaluate their artistic talents. The children received wonderful gifts, as well as assurances of further support from Cyprus.
