During the event, the Ambassador of Ukraine Sergii Nizhynskyi and the Ambassador of Poland Marek Szczepanowski spoke about the importance of cultural dialogue between our countries. After all, we have common values, many similarities and a common enemy. Chopin's fate was tragic - after the suppression of the Polish uprising of 1830–1831 by the Russian Empire, the composer could not return home, which became psychological persecution and exile for him.
The evening dedicated to F. Chopin was also attended by the Head of the Community of the Ukrainian-Cypriot Friendship, Nadiia Mykhailina.
