The event was organized by the Expert Center “Diplomacy, International Relations, Etiquette, Protocol” in cooperation with the Ukrainian Foreign Policy Association. Members of the UA Experts Leadership Club also joined the discussion.
The Ambassador shared his professional journey and spoke about the priorities of his diplomatic work. He emphasized the promotion of Ukraine’s interests, openness and public engagement, timeliness in decision-making, effective communication, and leadership.
The participants learned about the work of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission and became acquainted with the “Ten Guidelines of the Ambassador of Ukraine.” These reflect Ukraine’s approach to international cooperation, based on the defense of sovereignty, support for unity, the development of democracy, legal standards, and the values of Christian heritage.
Ambassador Sergii Nizhynskyi also paid special attention to diplomatic protocol. He spoke about preparations for the ceremony of presenting credentials to the President of Cyprus and highlighted the importance of symbolic gifts and cultural diplomacy.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, during which participants received valuable advice on diplomatic careers and intercultural communication.
