On December 5, 2024, as part of the "Ukrainian Bookshelf" project, which is implemented under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, in the library of the American University of Cyprus in Larnaca, Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr.Ruslan Nimchynskyi together with the President of the University, Mr. Mark-Anthony Zabbal, officially opened the eighth Ukrainian Bookshelf in Cyprus.

During the event, the sides noted the importance of implementing the mentioned initiative and readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

The Embassy continues to work to make the Ukrainian book available to Ukrainians throughout the island.
