A highlight of the event was the address by the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, Sergii Nizhynskyi, who paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, thanks to whom we live today. He emphasized: “The Motherland is one. God created us to uphold Christian values. He gives us not only a shield but also a sword. And those who come to us with a sword will leave on a shield.

The ambassador emphasized that 33,000 Ukrainians in Cyprus are not just a union, but a powerful force capable of change. Our strength is in being ourselves, and 33,000 people in Cyprus are 33,000 voices that need to be united! Let us pray that the Ukrainian community in Cyprus unites and becomes a driving Christian force.
