Meeting between the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, Sergii Nizhynskyi and the British High Commissioner, Michael Tatham

Today, on October 2, a friendly meeting between the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, Sergii Nizhynskyi and the British High Commissioner, Michael Tatham was held.
During the meeting, the British side expressed readiness to support Ukraine and to develop joint communication.
The parties discussed promoting the Ukrainian Ambassador’s initiative to establish a Leaders Club around Ukraine, with regular meetings planned to be held in Nicosia.
It was agreed to maintain close contact, supporting each other to achieve a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine.
It’s worth noting, that the old Ukrainian flag was displayed on the facade of the British High Commission in Nicosia. This symbolic gesture underscores the United Kingdom’s support for Ukraine and the strength of the ties between the two countries. The presentation of a new Ukrainian flag by the Ambassador Sergii Nizhynskyi is not only an act of diplomatic courtesy but also a powerful symbol of unity and shared values.
