After a minute of silence in honor of the fallen Ukrainians, the anthems of both states were played.
In his speech, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Sergii Nizhynskyi spoke about the daily challenges that Ukrainians face in the conditions of a full-scale war with Russia.
The concert of the "Cultural Forces" caused a real sensation - the soloists performed Ukrainian folk songs and world hits. Bandur player Inna Ishchenko enchanted with her voice and sound of the national instrument.
The entire evening, the screens broadcasted videos from Ukraine, the footage told about life until 2022 and after. The visual content of the evening and the organization of the space were provided by the wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine, Yuliia Nizhynska.
The guests were also presented with two expositions - a photo exhibition dedicated to the Day of Dignity and the exhibition "Icons on Weapon Boxes" by Sofia Atlantova and Oleksandr and Herman Klymenko from Kyiv.
The hall was filled not just with people, but with their faith in Ukraine, sympathy, compassion and love.
