The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus continues to receive numerous appeals regarding the further hotel accommodation of Ukrainian citizens who have the status of temporary protection.

We are deeply grateful for the sincere hospitality of the Cypriot People and the tireless efforts of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus to ensure the most comfortable conditions for many thousands of Ukrainian citizens enjoying their stay on the island.

The Embassy of Ukraine continues to actively and tirelessly interact with the Government of the Republic of Cyprus at all possible levels in order to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of Ukrainian citizens. Our Cypriot colleagues have been informed about the content of the requests regarding the need for a special approach in order to take into account the requests of Ukrainian citizens under temporary protection as much as possible.

We consider it inappropriate and unjustified to call for protests and other steps that will in no way contribute to the search for effective solutions.

Instead, the Embassy of Ukraine focuses on joint work with the relevant ministries of the Republic of Cyprus, which are authorized to formulate and adopt relevant decisions, with the aim of resolving the existing issues as soon as possible.
