October 24-26, 2019 First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Svitlana Fomenko participated in the "Act for Heritage" conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus in cooperation with the Council of Europe and the European Commission in Nicosia (Republic of Cyprus).

The main goal of the conference is to promote the Council of Europe Convention on Offenses Relating to Cultural Property and to discuss a number of issues on the subject, as well as to hold a number of thematic working group meetings.

Representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus were also invited to the official opening ceremony of the Conference, after which the meeting of the Charge d’affairs of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus Natalia Sirenko with the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Svetlana Fomenko was held.
