During the meeting, H.E. Borys Humeniuk informed H.E. Pierre-Yves Fux about the progress of the implementation of reforms in Ukraine, the grave security and humanitarian situation in Donbas, and also informed on the efforts aimed at implementation of the Minsk Agreements, as well as perspectives of launching of the UN peacekeeping operation in the Eastern Ukraine.

Special attention was paid to the situation in Ukraine in the context of Russia’s ongoing hybrid war against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Ambassador also informed his counterpart about the local protocol and etiquette, national traditions of the Republic of Cyprus.

Dr. Pierre-Yves Fux assured of the Switzerland's consistent support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. In the context of Russia’s ongoing military aggression in Donbas and illegal occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea wished a quick restoration of peace on the Ukrainian soil and de-occupation of the peninsula.
