The program formed by the duo and entitled "Ukrainian aquarelles" includes works by famous Ukrainian composers such as M.Berezovsky, D.Bortnyansky, M.Lysenko, A.Gnatyshyn, I.Levytskyi, M.Skorulskyi, Y.Meytus, M.Kolessa, M.Skoryk and others.

In his opening speech Ambassador of Ukraine Borys Humeniuk stressed on the historical facts of the establishment of the Diplomatic Service of the Ukrainian People’s Republic a hundred years ago, emphasized the importance of the diplomatic efforts of Ukraine in the struggle for the independence and sovereignty of the Ukrainian State then and the confrontation to Russian armed aggression against Ukraine today. Special attention was drawn to the role of Ukraine in the international arena, recognition, support and diplomatic relations with countries of the world.

A diplomatic reception took place after the concert with the attendance of diplomatic corps of Cyprus, governmental, political, business, academic circles as well as Cypriot community and Ukrainians in Cyprus. 

During the event an exhibition of photo and archival documents dedicated to the 100^th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Service of Ukraine was also presented with the title “Ukrainian  Diplomacy  1917–1924: the Birth of National Traditions”.

The event was held in a warm festive atmosphere, the masterpieces of Ukrainian classical music, performed by a talented duo, sparked enthusiasm and positive emotions of the guests of the event.
