The action, which took place in the center of Nicosia, was aimed at raising funds for charitable purposes of the organization «Ajax's Shield» (Larnaca), in particular to support families with children in need. The participants presented their countries with national dishes, as well as with traditional singing and dancing.

Ukrainian table was represented by traditional Ukrainian baked stuffed buns (“pyrizhky”) and pancakes (“mlynci”) with different fillings, as well as sweet rolls with poppy seeds and berries, which had a great success among visitors. Representation of Ukraine in the event was enriched with modern Ukrainian songs performed by Ukrainian talented young musician Nikita Zozovskiy.

The event gathered a big number of representatives of Cypriot and international community and, in addition to the charitable purpose, was a great opportunity to represent Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus.
