Meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine in Nicosia with the Director General of the Cyprus Association of Travel Agents

On February 9, 2016, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Borys Humeniuk had a meeting with the Director General of the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA) Mr. Yiannis Michaelides with the aim of discussing possible ways of further development of a bilateral co-operation in the field of tourism.
The parties welcomed the results of the Ukraine-Cyprus co-operation in 2015. Particularly, nearly 50,6 thousand of Ukrainian tourists visited Cyprus (41,1 thousand in 2014), while 12 thousand Cypriots visited Ukraine in 2015.
Mr. Yiannis Michaelides informed the Ukrainian Party on the activities of the 19th International Tourist Exhibition “TAXIDI-2016”, which will be held between 15 and 17 of April, 2016 in Nicosia, as well as invited Ukrainian tourist agents and operators to participate at this event.
