During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of important areas of cooperation that demonstrate Cyprus's solidarity and consistent support for Ukraine.

Special attention was payed to bilateral interaction within the framework of the 15th Annual Direct Dialogue of EU Capital City Mayors with the European Commission, which will take place in Nicosia on February 15–17, 2026, during Cyprus's presidency of the Council of the EU.

Mayor of Nicosia Charalambos Prountzos also emphasized his readiness to actively support projects of cultural diplomacy carried out by the Embassy of Ukraine in Cyprus.
