On May 4, 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Borys Humeniuk was received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nikos Anastasiades.

During the meeting the key issues of Ukrainian-Cypriot relations, including the continuation of the political contacts at the highest level were discussed. The President of the Republic of Cyprus expressed his readiness to pay an official visit to Ukraine.

The President of the Republic of Cyprus reaffirmed Cyprus’s support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressed the need for implementation by all parties of the provisions of the Minsk agreements, which are an instrument for peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

Special attention was paid to the prospects of European integration of Ukraine, particularly in the context of preparations for the Riga summit of "Eastern Partnership".

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Cyprus for unconditional support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and Ukraine's integration process to the EU.
