Meeting between the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Borys Humeniuk and the Cyprus Government Spokesman, Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulides

On April 21, 2015, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Borys Humeniuk had a meeting with the Cyprus Government Spokesman, Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulides.

During the meeting the sides discussed key issues of Ukrainian-Cypriot relations, in particular bilateral political dialog and European perspectives of Ukraine in the context of forthcoming Riga Summit of Eastern Partnership. The high level of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and Cyprus was noticed. Ambassador Humeniuk expressed gratitude for Cyprus support of territorial integrity of Ukraine as well as process of integration of Ukraine to the EU.

Special attention was paid to the situation in Eastern Ukraine and the state of implementation of Minsk Agreements. Mr. Christodoulides reiterated Cyprus constant support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressed on common position of European Union regarding Ukrainian issue.
