From Ukrainian side the Programme was signed by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Borys Humeniuk and from Cypriot side – the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus Dr. Costas Kadis.

The Programme foresees cultural events, which will be held in Ukraine and the Republic of Cyprus in order to bring closer cultures of Ukrainian and Cypriot peoples.

In their speeches during the signing ceremony, Minister Costas Kadis and Ambassador Borys Humeniuk expressed confidence that the implementation of the Programme, which was signed in continuation of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on cooperation in the sphere of culture as of June 25, 2010, will make a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Cypriot cooperation in all spheres.
