Ambassador Borys Humeniuk met with the Head of the Cyprus Green Party Mr. Giorgos Perdikis

On November 26, 2014, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus H.E. Borys Humeniuk met with the member of Committee for Home Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, member of the National Council on the Cyprus issue under the President of the Republic of Cyprus, President of the Cypriot political party “Cyprus Green Party” Mr. Giorgos Perdikis.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed current state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and Cyprus, the situation in eastern Ukraine, as well as key issues of the global agenda.
Mr.Perdikis was informed about the results of Ukraine’s Government efforts on early implementation of the Peace Plan of the President of Ukraine aiming at ensuring of ceasefire, establishment of proper control on the Ukrainian-Russian border with involvement of OSCE capabilities, withdrawal of Russian troops and machinery from the territory of Ukraine and release of hostages, including political.
In the context of discussing of Ukraine’s European integration progress, Cypriot politician expressed readiness of Cyprus Green Party to support ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus.
