The Liturgy was attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Sergii Nizhynskyi, along with his family and the team of the Embassy. The mayor of Pyla, Simos Mitidis, also attended the Liturgy.

After the service, the Ambassador of Ukraine addressed the Ukrainian community with warm words of congratulations on the Nativity of Christ, wishing all Ukrainians strength, wisdom, health, and faith in themselves!

Embassy’s team also delighted the children with sweet gifts.

Following the Liturgy, our talented children organized a real celebration: young actors from the first Ukrainian theater in Cyprus, "Kryla" (Wings), and members of the Plast scouting organization "Plast Cyprus" performed carols and led the traditional "koza" (goat) dance, filling hearts with joy and Ukrainian traditions.

We thank everyone who joined this warm Christmas gathering far from home. May the Bethlehem Star light our path to victory and peace!
