The event was attended by His Excellency the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Sergii Nizhynskyi, together with spouse, Mrs. Yuliia Nizhynska.
Special thanks go to our distinguished guests: His Excellency the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland, Mr. Marek Szczepanowski, and His Excellency the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Netherlands, Mr. Wouter Plomp, who joined us for this important occasion. After all, “Malevich” is more than just a film. It is our memory, our truth, and our strength.
The idea to screen the film in Cyprus belongs to Halyna Shkurenko, founder of the “Action Hub” studio, who also invited the film’s producer, Maria Kael. As a reminder, the film was directed by Darya Onyschenko.
The film deeply moved the audience with the profound meanings it conveys, revealed new facets of Malevich’s genius, and touched on the topic of the Holodomor of 1932–1933.
